After the success of the first Selvedge film night we are pleased to annouce that on the 17 May 2010 we will be hosting a screening of Bright Star at the Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley.
Before the film we will have a discussion between Polly Leonard, the editor of Selvedge Magazine; Susie Cowie who has created embroideries for the film; Jessica Aldred from the Royal School of Needlework who taught many of the actresses in the film how to embroider and Lindsey Woodgate who created some of the costumes for the display at Keat's House. Tickets are limited so book soon to avoid disappointment.
